All of our homes at Glaciers Reach are a ten minute walk or a free shuttle ride to the base of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. Everything that Whistler Village offers is at your door step, along the picturesque, cobble-stoned village stroll.

Some of the recent upgrades to this two bedroom two bathroom townhome include; a 51 inch, 37 inch and 32 inch flat screen TVs, Playstation 3 with preloaded games, NetFlix, mattresses, duvets and leather pull out couch. Other features include a BBQ, DVD, Stereo with I pod dock, gas fire place, heated year round pool, shared sauna, AC, free underground parking and high speed internet with Wi-Fi. This vacation home sleeps a maximum of six guests but four is recommended. The bedding consists of; a queen bed, a new king bed and a queen sofa bed.   I went up with 4 people and we really enjoyed the space. Very clean, warm, cozy. Fire place and hot tub was the best. The condos are really really really close together but I think the walls are well insulated cuz it’s whistler and usually cold, so noise was no issue.   We loved the convenient location near the Village, although the condo itself looked rather gloomy and tree shaded. We were there in sunny autumn weather. The property was spotless and comfortable with all mod cons, and the hot tub was ready to use. We had difficulty finding the nearest entrance to the house, and it would have helped if we had been advised to look for 88A which is the back door to 88! All instructions were directly from the manager as there is no reception on site, although we were given a phone number to call if we needed anything.

  - property is well located and the owner takes good care of his guests; equipment of the apartment is satisfactory
  - However, we were at a 1st floor apartment: Very dark; terrace is small and not convenient for meals as you have the access entrance of the 2nd floor apartment that is right there. therefore, you do not have any privacy when you are on your terrace or in the jacuzzi.
  - also, there was a scaffolding on one side of the apartment; not a nice view for vacations time
  - i am pretty sure there are much better apartments at upper floors than the one where i stayed

  This was our first time in Unit 88 at but our 5th time visiting Glaciers Reach. This was probably our favorite unit. We have a 1 year old, so for us a unit that is all on one level makes things so much easier. The location was absolutey perfect and the room set up - also excellent for our family. The hot tub was super clean as was the rest of the place. We will absolutely be back and requesting this unit again if we can get it! You will not be disappointed! The only thing if any that we didnt like, were all the mosquitoes in the front of the unit because it is quite shaded...BUT we'll take a few mosy bites over the hot sun cooking the unit all day long any day!

  Great unit- highly recommend it for a good ski week.
  
  Pros:
  - full kitchen for cooking meals (although BBQ seems to set off neighbour's smoke detector!).
  - Good size new hot tub (fits 6 comfortably). - Washer/dryer very handy to dry wet gear. Very clean rooms with plenty of towels and bedding.
  -3 min walk to marketplace (booze, food, McDonalds!).
  - Plenty of underground parking although key entry makes it slightly annoying to access garage.
  
  Cons:
  -Lower unit has less natural lights due to configuration, but not a concern since only there at night.
  -Unit could use a few more dimmers.
  -Took us awhile to find the actual unit as the building complex is slightly confusing.
  -Pool was out of order during our visit
  -Walking to hill in full gear is a challenge - we parked in day parking for $8 which was worth it. But walking to main village in regular shoes was about 10 mins so very easy.
  
  Overall - would stay there again. Trevor was very responsive to all my annoying questions.

  Well stocked 2 bedroom condo, nicely updated. AC was not working and leaked all over the carpet in bedroom #2 and we were unable to use both the room and AC. Disappointing response from the owner/management team as the solution was not to use as it was cooler out. Check out time of 10am is annoying. Hot tub was great and the location is outstanding!!

    With all due respect, I received the call about the drip from the AC in the evening. It was cool so turning the AC off and using the fan was a logical temporary solution.   Very close to the village and about a 10 minute walk to the gondolas. The photos do make it look bigger than it feels, and there is little natural light in the place. The light bulbs they chose are also not great, especially in the bathrooms, they cast a blue-ish light in an already dark place (I now see why all the lamps are on in the photos). The beds were comfortable, but unfortunately the smaller bedroom door wasn't properly screwed into the wall so didn't close completely leaving little privacy - it's an easy fix though so I'm sure it will be fine for the next people. The private hot tub was great after a hard day on the slopes.

  I very much enjoyed my stay in #88 Glacier's reach. It wasn't fancy or perfectly clean, but mostly everything we needed to have a great vacation. The few issues I had, were that one of the bedroom doors were broken, like the screws were out of the hinges. The wood in the door had been stripped so badly they would fall out very easily when I put them back in. The door was propped open with a door stopper so I couldn't imagine how someone didn't know this was already broken. My only other issue was that the hot tub was very dirty. So dirty my son got a rash from being in there. Besides that, there were random hairs and other things just showing the property was only partially cleaned before our arrival. The quality of the sheets and towels could use some serious improvement as well. Overall a decent value for the money but I would hope the next time the hot tub would be clean and the door wouldn't be broken.

  This was the perfect spot for two couples to stay in whistler for the long weekend! It was close enough to the village that we could walk in and out for the markets and a coffee or to go clubbing but also far enough away from the noise when we wanted to just stay in and relax. It was very nice and cozy with the fireplace and the hot tub. The only downside was that you had to walk through the master bedroom to get to the hot tub - limited access if you weren't sleeping in that room and wanted to use it but the other people were asleep!

  The facility was private and tucked away but a stones throw from the village which made walking a breeze. The suite was clean and the hot tub was fabulous!! My only issue was that the walls are not sound proof and neighboring doors too close by so if if you're looking for a place to have a good night sleep, this wouldn't be it. And if you're claustrophobic this might not be the place for you because it's very dark and the ceilings are very low and if you're on the bottom floor like we were it feels like you're in a dungeon. It was a nice place well-kept and family people but I like to have a good sleep when I am on a holiday so that I can enjoy the next day refreshed. I think it's a good place for honeymooners or young people don't mind the noise. It is an excellent location and extremely clean and the price was on the money.

  our rental arrival was very smooth, instructions for arrival,opening doors, parking etc were spectacular and very detailed! nicely done! our accomodations were clean, and well appointed. even though the weekend we spent in whistler was very hot (30+), our condo stayed pretty cool. we had fans in the condo that really helped with airflow. we had laundry in our room which was very helpful for drying towels and washing clothes. all in all it was a great experience. our concierge/manager that set everything up was very helpful and easy to contact via email and phone throughout our whole stay including the hours up until our arrival. overall, certainly very good value for the money.

  Our stay here was great! The condo was in excellent condition and had everything we needed. The location could not have been better. Close to the Village and grocery shopping.   Property management very good, unit very clean. The unit we had was on the ground level, and we found that the walls were paper thin in the bedroom we slept in as the unit next door was up much later than us and we could clearly hear them. Make sure to get an upper level unit if you want to get to bed at a decent hour in order to get up early to ski. The hot tub is an older unit so no real power in the jets. Amazing location,, right across the street from the free bus shuttle. The market is across the street as well with the grocery store.... easy walk to village.

  We stayed at #88 Glacier's Reach over the BC Day Long weekend. Here are our honest pros and cons to help you make your decision!
  
  PROS:
  -The suite was nicely updated with furniture, and electronics
  -Loved the fact that we were able to cook in our townhome for one of the nights!
  -Located just on the other side of Market Place. Very convenient!
  -The suite was pretty clean
  -Very family oriented
  
  CONS:
  -If you're taking advantage of their "Last minute" deals where they claim to offer your 20% off your stay...note that there is a $65 "2 night minimum" fee that isn't mentioned anywhere until the payment step. This "fee" brought our total to just about the same rate if we were to book 3 nights...
  -the TV in one of our bedrooms didn't work
  -the walls and floors are EXTREMELY thin, so if you're a light sleeper, this isn't the place for you
  -our "private" hot tub was located RIGHT in front of the entrance to another suite...which was kind of awkward...
  
  We'd consider giving this place another try some time down the road...should the opportunity presents itself.

  Overall happy but had two main difficulties:
  1) The code to get into the property we were given was incorrect. This wasted over thirty minutes to resolve and two international calls (on my US cellphone to Canadian numbers). The people I spoke on the phone with were very nice and professional but it was something that I should not have had to deal with since so simple to avoid.
  2) The power sockets in both bathrooms were not working....and neither hairdryers provided were working as a result either. This was another big inconvenience.

  My daughter and I spent 16 days at #88 Glaciers Reach while she recuperated from knee surgery. Needless to say we spent a lot of time indoors. This condo was everything we needed. It was very well appointed including wifi and netflix and 3 flat screen tv's. The kitchen was well equipped and having the BBQ was fabulous. When we ran out of propane Eliane delivered a new tank promptly. Laundry was a bonus and detergent was even supplied. Beds were very comfortable, nice duvets and the sheets actually stayed fitted around the mattress! Having a private hot tub was very nice.
  The location was fabulous as it is across the street from the Marketplace which has every store you could possible need and it is the beginning of the "Village Stroll".
  If you are skiing there is a bus stop right there which will take you to the lifts no charge.
  One of the things I really liked was not having to check in through a front desk. Although I never spoke with Trevor Chelswick he was very prompt at answering my emails and any questions I had. The directions and information provided for entering the condo was very easy to follow. I would definitely stay there again as it was very spacious and a great location. Very reasonably priced and parking was included. Thanks for a great stay.

  Glacier's Reach is located just outside the marketplace at the north end of the village. Because it was not in the main village, it was very quiet. It was walking distance from the marketplace, where there is both a grocery store and a drug store. Benz
  Coffee is also nearby. We found several excellent restaurants on Main Street which is also very close to the condo. The condo was very clean, had a gas grill, flat screen tv and a dvd player. On the negative side was the layout. The room with the queen bed
  was very small with the staircase for the upper condo going right over it and the porch light from the adjacent condo shining in through the window. It would probably be noisy if the upstairs condo is occupied. Also, being on the bottom floor, the unit was
  very dark.

  We had a great time at this property, it had room for our small children, in-laws, and my wife and I. It was nicely decorated, conveniently located, and the private hot tub was fantastic. The cleaning staff found our camera outside after we had been in the hot tub and kept it safely with them to return to us in the morning. Very thoughtful. Our only complaint was that the pull out bed from the couch was VERY uncomfortable, and the linens didn't seem clean as we found some long hairs on them that didn't belong to anyone in our party. The extra pillowcases seemed stained as well. Maybe they were clean, but it was hard to tell. They should be replaced. Overall, a very nice stay at a reasonable price.

  We had an amazing time here relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the scenic surroundings. The unit was very well equipped with a full kitchen, glassware, cutlery, fresh linen and lots of towels.
  
  However, we were not the best guests, we unintentionally caused some damage to the unit. The manager was very understanding and very pleasant to deal with even though I'm sure we tested his patience! (FYI if you find an ipod or some jeans please contact me!)
